This is the place to be for those who love hummingbirds—and this includes everyone from beginners to research scientists. This is a place to meet kindred spirits, to find those who share your particular fascination(s) with the world’s smallest and most beautiful family of birds. Friendships made here can last a lifetime. Take an in-depth look at the menu items to the left, and see what appeals to you most! The 2005 Festival has many parts!

Field Trip - Friday, May 13, 2005 only, by advance registration only. Because of strong demand, a post-festival field trip on Monday, May 16, 2005th has been added. Reserve your space here

Program - Saturday and Sunday, May 14-15, 2005. For details on presenters, topics, and schedule, click here. All sessions are $5 each, or a $15 Master Day Pass admits you to any program session for that day. For $25, you can purchase a Two Day Master Day Pass. Under 16 years are free. Trips to the Desert Museum's world-famous Hummingbird Aviary and to the Tucson Botanical Gardens are not included in these tickets.

TRIP: Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum - Saturday, May 14, only. Round-trip bus from the TCC to visit the world-famous hummingbird aviary of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Tickets are $15 per seat, regardless of age; price includes admission to the museum itself; Festival Day Sessions not included. A Limited number of tickets at will be sold and should be purchased in advance. One group only:  8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Nature's Palette Wildlife Art Show - Saturday and Sunday, May 14-15. Admission $2 for adults, 16 and under are free. Admission is free with any stub or ticket to any part of the Program, Trip, or Gala.

Nature Expo - Saturday and Sunday, May 14-15,2005. Booths of nonprofits, artisans, and businesses. Admission included with Art Show.

TRIP: Hummingbird Garden Tour - Sunday, May 15, 2005 only. Round-trip bus from the TCC to visit the nearby Tucson Botanical Gardens for a personal tour. Tickets are $14 per seat, regardless of age. A Limited number of tickets at will be sold and should be purchased in advance. Two groups: 8:30-10:30 and 9:30-11:30. Ticket includes admission to the TBG.

Gala Reception Benefit - Saturday, May 14, only. Limited seating, and advance reservations are required! This joint fundraiser with the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum will be held at the Westward Look Resort in Tucson. In addition to the fine food and drink, and an entertaining program, you’ll have a chance to meet many of the presenters for the Festival. A raffle will award a trip for 2 to the fabulous Xandari Resort and Spa in Costa Rica. Proceeds of the Gala and the raffle will go to support the hummingbird aviary of the Desert Museum and the mission of the Hummingbird Society. Price: $75 per person. Cash bar.
